The Gap

You can find Gap shops all over London, but not all shops stock the GapFit range of activewear. This shop is the only Gap I have gone to which has a good, wide range of women’s gym clothes. Yes, it might be high street, but the quality of their gym clothes is really good, and definitely value-​for-​money when the sales are on.
I’ll just digress into a brief rant about Gap’s business model for a bit:
There’s a fundamental flaw in a business model when I won’t step into a high street shop if it’s not on sale, largely because it seems to be on special offer every other day. That’s how I feel about Gap. Despite their having a good range of basics — white shirts, jeans, jumpers — if the brand seems to be having a 30% off or more at any one time, why would you ever want to go in when there isn’t a promotion on? It boggles my mind as to what they were thinking when they decided to go down this road.
Anyway, back to the shop. This shop is large with women’s, men’s and activewear located on the ground floor, and Gap Kids in the basement. The staff are friendly and happy to offer suggestions and are also enterprising. I once noticed them placing umbrellas out for sale take when it was pouring down outside.

This is a well stocked GAP outlet. There’s not much to say about it, it’s a large clothing shop with a good range of clothes. Downstairs is a large children’s department too.
The clothes can be a bit on the pricey side for what they are, but most of their dresses have POCKETS! So, they get instant love points!
