The Giant Plug!

5 months on I still can’t believe that «the giant plug» has been on a wall on Ganton Street, off the famous Carnaby Street for so many years and it’d only just been brought to my attention!
During a night out with my friend, she casually said something about the plug and I said «Ay, what are you on about love?!» She said «You know the plug round the corner!» but this time I thought a). You’re truly mental and b). I was annoyed that my finger had been taken off the pulse and I’d missed out on something! Granted it is in an area — the less commercial /​touristy side of Carnaby Street — however that annoys me even more as I usually find the less touristy places!
Anyway, so my friend took me to see the giant plug artwork /​installation and it was pretty cool to say the least! Even better it was decorated in a Union Jack for the Jubilee celebrations and I’m sure it’s still like that at the moment for the Olympics! I’ve since Googled it and seen that it’s previously been bright orange and green on occasions too.
The classic London tale that proves you never know what you’re going to find around the corner!
