Body Skin Tightening
After visiting The New York Laser Clinic in Fulham 2 days ago for a body skin tightening treatment, I have to say I will be going back for round 2. First of all they offer a FREE consultation which is great, they really try to find out what it is you are looking for in a treatment. I went in a bit blind as I knew this was something I wanted done around my buttocks area but didn’t really know much about what was involved and although I did a lot of research online it’s nice to be able to speak to a human being one to one with no obligation.
The treatment day itself was great! They really make you feel comfortable here and make the experience an enjoyable one, the clinic is nice and clean and the staff are friendly, I had no problems here. The treatment itself feels like a warm massage! I’m pretty good with pain anyway and I was expecting a little, but there was none! The result I got was almost instant too, I definitely felt like I looked firmer and less cellulitey. They recommend 6 treatments though, I only booked 3 to start with to see if it was for me else it can get quite pricey. But I definitely think you get your money’s worth. I would recommend.

After my initial consultation, my treatment day has finally arrived. I had my full legs and extended bikini treated. (Little shy about the second bit)
After checking in at the reception, I was taken to the treatment room, and got ready for my first treatment, getting undressed from waist down.
The practitioner joined me shortly and explained the steps to me, also informed me that at times I might feel a slight tingling, but I should let her know if I am in any discomfort.
Agi, the practitioner, took out some kind of white gel, which looked like jelly, and covered a part of my leg with it. This is actually a cooling conducting gel (found out shortly afterwards). Agi started gliding the laser machine across my leg where the gel was applied. It felt like somebody was giving me a gentle warm massage. I did not feel any discomfort. If Agi and I hadn’t been chatting throughout the treatment, I could have fallen asleep pretty easily.
When treating the bikini area, I did feel a slight tingling, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Agi stopped several times just to ensure I was OK.
After the treatment, Agi applied aloe vera both on my legs and bikini area. It felt nice and soothing. Laser compared to waxing and even IPL, it is an absolute blessing!
I am really looking forward going back to have my next treatment. Summer is just around the corner, and I am aiming to be hair free!

I am so thrilled with the New Laser York Laser Clinic! Very professional manner from the therapists. My favourite is Karina, she is calming and actually can make a painful laser session quite chilled. They make the parts of your skin to laser to make sure there are no patches. The place is clean. I bought a 6 treatment package and have only used two so far. The hair has noticeably fallen out and is thinner with no ghastly side effects.

I read the freviews but i gthought it was rare incidents and still bought a gropun voucher
Because my friend had a good experience at other branch of new york laser
So i booked an appoinment for myself and my friend and although groupon site said until 6 pm I was told latest appoinment has to be 5:30
and i was told we can both book for same time as it takes 15 mins for each customer
When we arrived 3 mins late due to location of the clinic (you have to go through a street market)
as soon as we arrived we were told we are 10 mins late appafrenty they have their own time zone:)
anyway than we said at least take one of us but they refused and said they have customer at 6 pm
althougg it was only 5:34. i had to leave ear;y to make it but they didnt accept our pleases. Also they said whoever booked it made a mistake because first consultation takes 20 mins and since there were two of us and one consultant avalaible thta day she could not make it even if we arrived on time
and eventually my friend decided to rebook and we were there until 6 pm and there was no customer
and we were told if you buy voucher from groupon that is what you will get :)
I have never seen such bad service and any solution we offered was refused
I dont understand why at least one of us could not be taken? it seems like they hate customers:)

Terrible customer service and underhand attitude. I have been a regular customer of this clinic and used to think that it was very good. However, I attended my appointment yesterday, and had spoken to the clinic three times prior to my arrival, once to book my repeat appointment, once when they called to confirm and then once again when they called to see if they could change my appointment and at no point did they mention that they had overnight raised the prices by 50%!!! I was really annoyed to discover that they only told me this when I showed up. This is a massive hike in prices and I was disgusted that they actively chose not to inform me prior to my appointment and when I pointed out that this was really underhand they took the attitude that I could just leave if I didn’t like it! The staff were completely indifferent to whether I remained a client or not and showed no interest in keeping their clients it really was a like it or lump it attitude. So, that’s the last time I will go there and in future I will find a clinic that understands the value of customer care!

I went here for laser skin rejuvenation on my face and was talked into having an course of acid peels and microdermabrasion beforehand to enhance the laser treatment results. The therapist assured me she knew my skin type and this was the best course of action. Unfortunately I have sensitive skin and have since been told that microdermabrasion is not recommended for my skin type, nevermind a course of chemical peels. When the laser treatment started the therapist sometimes didn’t even bother to clean my skin beforehand, when I questioned this and said I was wearing face cream with SPF in, she shrugged and said it didn’t matter. Her attitude was horrendous and I never did go back for my last treatment, which I had already paid for. Problem is the damage had already been done and I now have been left with highly sensitive skin which is permanently red and reacts to everything. Not only that I have red patches on my face that flake and don’t heal and I can actually see the round shape of the laser head where I have been burnt.
