Popped in here for a very late lunch on a Thursday afternoon. It was practically empty so I had a nice chat with the bartender while I was waiting for my food (falafel, butternut squash and quinoa salad) as takeaway. The good convo set a nice tone to start and he was kind enough to give me a fork for the road. The meal itself was filling and quite nice: about four solid chunks of falafel, nice and hot with the perfect mix of solid and crumbly texture. It could have done with a few more squash peices but there was plenty of hearty quinoa.
I would definitely recommend!

First time we have eaten here. Food and service were great.
We had a Sunday roast and it was £10.95 — cheaper than most places in Fulham and Hammersmith but it was great!
I’ll be back!

This pub has recently had a refurbishment and is much better for it.
Went on a busy Friday night and was super impressed with the fast friendly service. They have Mortimer’s cider on tap which was a nice change from the usual strongbow offerings.
Food was hit and miss. Fish and chips and nachos were both fine but the bangers and mash did not live up to any expectation. My friend complained about it and the staff were so helpful and apologetic — a full refund and free glass of wine was more than enough compensation!
DJ played cheesy tunes that you hate to admit you love, but you do! Who can resist a bit of Dolly?!
Probably a 3 star pub but the awesome service earns it an extra star.

A pub with a lot going for it I must say. It’s recently been given a facelift and has been converted from old man boozer to a much more welcoming funky pub that draws in a real cross section of punters. The bar staff were really friendly and the service was fast. They also serve good food. I ordered nachos and my friends toad in the hole and fish and chips and all the meals were really nice. We went here on a Friday so it was rammed full. That said it has a really good vibe here. And asides from the DJ’s choice of music and putting his volume up a bit to loud, this place was great. Thoroughly recommended.

Great pub with good food, cheap and tasty. The drinks are relatively cheap compared to other pubs in the area and the staff are very friendly, with the best landlady around — all the staff are always willing to help you out with drink/food choices and alterations to food to make you happy.
Also a very popular pub on football match nights! Well recommended for both atmosphere and grub.
