The Red Gecko

This is my new favourite shop! On a desperate last minute attempt to find some Christmas gifts for the family, The Red Gecko was my saviour and I am so excited to see everyones faces when they open their gifts! I also had to buy a couple of gifts for… my flat (so that makes it ok).
On the corner of Greenwich Market, the place is a family run business whereby they sell jewellery, artwork and home wares. The art is amazing and their are some gorgeous prints from a range of artists at fantastic value. I picked up three prints and three frames for around £45. They also stock some incredibly unusual mirrors and home decorations.
The staff love chatting to you and I found out that most of the metal work and jewellery is sourced in Bali whereby the owner goes every couple of months to scope out new pieces for the shop. They really took the time with me and were incredibly friendly and passionate about the stock.
The bags in which you take your purchases away in could just be the best part — they are made from genuine Bali newspapers and look incredibly chic! Very Vogue indeed!
