Stopped in on a dreary Sunday night for dinner. Ordered the Bloody Mary pizza with a Bloody Mary drink. Could not have made a better choice for either food or drink. The pizza was very good, exceeding my expectations. The bloody mary drink was also good — above average for a pub bloody mary. It’s a shame we only discovered this pub recently as we are now due to move out of the area. :(

This is a fantastic pub which serves great food! The little tapas from Puglia are so yummy that I can’t wait to go back. The front garden is beautiful and the staff very friendly. highly reccomandable!

Good food. Most particularly the pizzas. They are very flavourful and you have a wide selection. Try the meatballs in the tapas selection. Avoid the squid or shrimps(too greasy, overcooked). Somehow, I have had more prompt service when sitting downstairs. Not sure why(the kitchen is upstairs). At my last visit, I was upstairs and had a long wait for food and service. 50min for food. 30min for desserts. If service was more prompt, I would come more often. That said service is courteous with a good selection of beers. A good pub to have around.

This is a super local pub in Acton. There is a large outdoor space which is great when the weather is dry, a lovely cosy downstairs main bar, and then a newly renovated upstairs restaurant area. The bar staff were all friendly & looked like they really enjoyed working there, which is good to see. The wine list is incredible — they obviously know their stuff here. I am still dreaming about the sauvignon blanc I had here — I need to find out what it is! Perfect grapefruit notes through it, it was just amazing. They do a food menu which is pizzas, burgers, italian tapas. I had a veggie pizza & it was really good — and fairly priced too I thought. Run by Italians, this place is a very fun place to be indeed. I have a friend who lives in Acton and used to work here, so I’m sure we’ll be back when we’re in the area — definitely for more of that sauvignon!

The food and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff are quite quirky, but friendly and the huge outdoor area makes it nice in good weather. It’s a bit small inside, but they have a huge tv screen for the sport

I like the Station House. They have lovely pizzas and lovely toilets. The staff have adapted to my love for the seated position and against their policy, started giving me table service. All they need now is a complimentary shuttle service taking the last stragglers home(me) and they’ll earn that fifth star. Wonderful.

Been coming here for weekly lunches(say hi if you see me!) with work peeps for the last 9 months. Always a a good atmosphere. Pizzas and burgers go down a treat, and I quite like the quesadillas. I’m told the chicken salad could use more chicken, though… It’s smartened up a little since the recent refit, and props to whoever had control of the music a few months back and was dropping old-skool funk/soul like Rick James and Bernard Wright. Also, loving the table markers, made with excerpts of erotic novels. Good to read about veiny, throbbing pistons and dewy bosoms whilst waiting for your food :-)

Shame that the last couple of reviews have been less than favourable. I have been going to this pub for some years, and seen a lot of changes. The pub was renovated last year, and although I loved the place before, Tracey the new owner has really made her mark, with lots of quirky décor inside and improving on the large beer garden, which has to be one of the pub’s strengths, especially in the summer, when it gets pretty busy! A excellent selection of beers, guest ales and ciders, which changes quite a lot throughout the year, and very good food, mostly consisting of pizza and tapas dishes, with the obligatory Sunday roast(very good too) I believe there’s a quiz night now, and on Sunday there is free music to chill out to. There is also a lovely upstairs room, which can also be hired out for parties. Highly recommended if you’re stranded in Acton.

Went there recently for an 80’s party(mates 40th) and I must say, I was very impressed with it. Beer was reasonably priced, décor was laid back and the art work(which is for sale) was very interesting. Massive room upstairs for private hire and we fitted 150 in easily. Cabs home weren’t a problem either and the staff where tip-top. All in all, if you were looking for an excuse to go to Acton Central Station, then your search is over!

This pub is literally next door to Acton Central train station. It’s a very nice pub and certainly not the usual grotty station pub. It’s got very nice décor and looks s bit like a gastro pub. It has tables with chairs as well as large snug sofas and the food looks pretty tasty and won’t break the bank.
