Brilliant atmosphere and the staff were brilliant. Great food too. The terrace is great in the warmer evenings.

Slow service and tired décor led to an overall disappointing experience. The food was OK(apart from the dough ball starter which arrived stone cold). Prices are reasonable but you can get a better experience at many of the other restaurants in Wimbledon.

Very confusing place, what is it? I went on a Saturday for an engagement party and it was just uninspiring. Very expensive and the cocktails were dreadful. Service very slow and bartenders have a cue 6 deep and they are working at snails pace, chatting up girls and not caring that people are dying of thirst. Love the terrace, but décor inside is like a low class west end nightclub. We only stayed for an hour, but that was long enough. Kx

On a hot summers day when you have been working most of your day or you want an indulgent meal the Terrace is the place to be! The best thing about the Terrace is that there is three different area, the restaurant the bar and the terrace. I have been here a few times and if you are ever in Wimbledon one thing you have to try is cool mint Oreos cocktail or if you fancy a non alcoholic cocktail I would recommend a Virgin Mai tai cocktail and sit outside on the terrace on a hot summers day. As the Terrace is situated in the centre of Wimbledon there is surreal feeling when you are on the Terrace, relaxed, looking down below where everyone’s rushing around on the high street . The bar can get quite busy so top tip to try to get there early for a seat! The lunch time bar menu is very reasonable value for money, depending on what you order the portion sizes varies, for example the battered fish and chips is a large portion but the scampi and chips more of a light bite! The milkshakes are very moorish and the staff are very helpful and the décor is very nice and stylish.

The drinks are always good. Love they way they do mojitos. They are yummy. The food is nice too. The place could be quite during the day but at night is a different story. They have the most comfortable big chairs to sip cocktails on! Great place for evening drink.

Nice spot! I’d love to come in for a drink in the early evening. Stepped in here on a late evening one weekend though, and I felt seriously over age… and I’m 26. Slightly depressing. We’ll be back.

This place is perfect to visit on a warm sunny day when you can sit outside. The inside, whilst nice, is not nearly the reason to come here. I’ve never actually eaten here, but rather have had wine and desserts with both being wonderful!

After being a restaurant for many years, the Terrace has re-invented itself as a restaurant /bar. There are comfortable armchairs and a long comfy banquette along one well, providing more options for sitting and conversation besides the formal tables. I met up with some local friends for a drink today and the Terrace provided a nice venue. It was spitting with rain so we didn’t venture outside and indoors, we were able to have a nice chat without being blasted with music. My virgin colada was very nice and my friend pronounced her satisfaction with her virgin mojito — enough to get another one. Her husband was impressed with the selection of beers. Nice place to chill

I have only visited The Terrace on warm summer’s evenings so i can sit out on their balcony and enjoy the last of the sun. It’s a great place to enjoy some good food, good drink and chat with friends whilst over looking Wimbledon’s Broadway. They sell good food with a Mediterranean vibe to the menu. They have tasty olives and bread, great wood fire pizzas, nice tiger prawns, piles of nachos and pretty good fish(especially the calamari) and meat dishes. They offer a good selection of bottled beers, wines, spirits and you should definitely try the cocktails in here. My favourite is the key west cooler and they’re all priced around the 5 to 6 pounds mark. The interior is quite funky and classy at the same time and the bar is pretty special. It’s a great space to sit in and chill out even if you just fancy a relaxing coffee after a heavy shopping trip in Centre Court. It’s a pleasant place but not somewhere i would go to in the evening on a night out. I have the feeling the pretentious crowd of Wimbledon would gather here so i make my exit before 8pm.

The Terrace can be found in an excellent — almost angelic — position above Wimbledon train station, next to Centre Court shopping centre. Best known for good food, energetic evenings and a truly universal clientele, the outside section of The Terrace is the perfect place to sip drinks on a warm, muggy summer London night. Or you could just feel your butt hit leather as you lounge on a wet, winter Friday afternoon. Ascend the stairs from Wimbledon Broadway, and depending on your company, you might just to wonder if a red carpet is about to roll down. I’d suggest a visit to the Terrace any time of year. The excuse to go is just that easy. It’s an excellent retreat for business meetings, love-lit dinners or a little bit of work party wickedness. Just choose your requirement and make it fun, The Terrace-style.
