Always over-crowded on a Friday after work, but a decent little pub. We almost always end up standing outside due to the small size of The Two Chairmen, but it’s alright. Nicely located just off St. James Park, so pretty convenient if you’re stopping for a little pub time en route St. James Park or Victoria stations.

Great for the ubiquitous post-work pint if you want to avoid the tourist-filled boozers closer to Parliament. Nice period features an cosy atmosphere. A great array of constantly changing ales, craft beers and lagers, spirits including some good single malts. Staff are efficient, friendly and good at keeping things going even on the busiest of evenings. Bar food is as you would expect, well presented, tasty and consistent. The menu is verging on identikit to other similar pubs and offers no major surprises. Gets rather busy on a Friday from 4:30 onwards as the offices close for this weekend. Covered outdoor drinking space with heaters too. Tip: don’t try and go at the weekends, it will be firmly closed(unfortunately).

Decent enough pub for a few after work drinks. You’re spoilt for choice in the St James Park area. The Two Chairmen is decent without being outstanding in any way — reasonable beers, prices and atmosphere. Pretty typical professional after work crowd with the odd tourist looking for Big Ben or Buckingham palace. It’s pretty small inside so you might find yourself on the street outside. Slight annoyance was the eastern bloc security guard who continually ushered us closer to the wall. Fine for a few after work but nothing to write home about.

Although a charming little pub service is often slow to non exsistent and the Star rarely tastes as it should. I also had my card debited twice for the same transaction in error and never got my money back.

Nice pub, quite small, tucked away off the beaten path so not many tourists find it! Usually full of officials from local govt offices so busy at peak times of lunch-hour and 5−7pm! The guys in my office like choosing from the real ales they have on cask.
