AVOID went in for a cut to take 1 inch off the length had my hair burnt by the hairdryer and overly thinned by the use of a razor comb that was put into my hair without permission. It was agreed to cut the length off not thin my hair which was far from bushy. Left me looking like a cancer patient — could not go out in despair as to what the hairdresser did. Dishonest and experiment on your hair while you literally have your back turned — sick. Hairdresser was called Tanya.

I went to see Karthika for a brazilian wax this morning and I can honestly say it was one of the best, if not THE best wax I’ve had in my whole 7 years of waxing.
She uses hard wax, which is virtually painless and gives way better results than strip wax — I totally recommend that you try it if you’ve only experienced strip wax. She was so professional, quick and thorough (went over strays with tweezers afterwards, made sure I was 100% happy before I left) and was chatty with such a warm nature– totally put me at ease and I’m sure it made it hurt less than normal as well. I got the impression that she’s had a lot of experience in brazilian waxing, which is always a good thing.
She is definitely my person to go to in London for waxing now; the place is only a 5min walk from Elephant & Castle station and even if you’re not from around the SE area (I’m not), it’s 100% worth the trek.
