Been here afew times (not much choice for Indian food in Canary Wharf) and never impressed… curries are small and not at all spicy… waiting staff appear unenthusiastic and the location is surroundings are dismal… inside a shopping mall (in the deepest darkest corner!)

I could wax lyrical for hours about the culinary delights of Tiffin Bites at Canary Wharf. Actually, forget just the culinary delights, add in the hyper-friendly and helpful staff, the speed of service, and the Bollywood films played on television screens whilst you’re dining, and you get an idea of what a great place this is to escape from the office for an hour, have a curry with your colleagues, and not break the bank (you can expect to pay around £10).
Highly recommended are the wraps, or the platters which will give you a selection of two or three dishes together, complete with obligatory poppadum and chutnies. Accompany your curry with a Lassi, and don’t feel you can’t ask the waiting staff what they would recommend.
Although the service is speedy, and you often have to wait (a short time) for a table certainly at a Friday lunchtime, if you want a slightly more leisurely meal, they’re never in a hurry to move you on.
A delight.
