Burgers good. Atmosphere good. Staff good. What not to like. This place is definitely in the cool zone(hipster laid back style). Burgers are very tasty and cook to your liking. I prefer medium cooked burgers if you ask me(as recommended by staff). Choice of burgers is really straight forward and simple. «Burger of the month» and free condiments are great addition. Pop in and see for yourself.

You get what the name of the place states — Burgers. And really good ones! Where there with the family and we all loved the burgers and the fries. A must.

Second verse, same as the first! Tommi’s little brother in Chelsea is pretty much exactly what you get at the original location. Still the best fries at any burger joint. Like… McDonald’s addictive crack laden fries but better. Ordered my burger medium well and it was damn near perfect. The only minor bummer was my slightly runny shake. Still delicious, but not as thick and amazing as the first one I had at the original Tommi’s. Perfect location for SW Londoners and even was able to park directly in front on a Sunday afternoon!

Tommi’s is like GBK’s cooler, hipper, younger cousin that finds dodgier, more exclusive places to hangout that GBK and his friends don’t get to go to because they’re always getting pissed on the High Street. I know there a lot of you that think GBK sucks, that it cannot even come close to comparing to Byron’s, so before we go having any meltdowns, chill, this is not about the ongoing Unilocal feud between the two. This is about Tommi’s. Modest, simple décor… burger shack chic, if you fancy. I haven’t trademarked that yet so feel free to exploit it. Nice(I would say) 200gr burgers with sweet buttery buns. Ample stock of condiments, spicy and mild,(house made?)pickles and a slim yet satisfying selection of suds. Love the band posters on the walls, love the love-key vibe. I actually appreciate that it’s setup as a «quick service» establishment. No frills, no bullshit. Just burgers. Damn good ones.

One star for the most amazing shakes ever. One more star for pretty great music and ambiance. One star for good fries. But why are the burgers always really raw in the Center?! I like my burgers rare but this is crazy. Too raw. Much too raw. Makes the texture squishy and weird.

Loved this Icelandic burger joint. The choices are fairly standard — veggie burger, steak burger or beef burger. Add cheese, bacon, cocktail or bearnaise sauce. Choice of shoe string potato fries or sweet potato fries. The fresh brioche bun was unsweetened which was nice. The patty was cooked medium rare and was juicy and flavorsome enough to complement the simplicity of the tomato, lettuce, mayo and ketchup. As I said, a fairly standard burger but cooked to perfection and just put together so nicely and served wrapped in paper in a basket with the fries. As for both the potato and sweet potato fries, they were just so crispy on the edges, non greasy and fluffy on the inside. I just gobbled them all up. This will probably be one of my go-to burger places for a quick, reliable and casual bite.

A great vibe and friendly staff greet you when you enter. Both of us plumped for their offer of the century: burger, fries and soda(£9.90), as we were both seriously hungry! All their burgers come as standard with a decent patty, and you can add cheese/bacon, etc if you so wish. Great flavour from the beef patty was complemented by the highly recommended caramelised onions and homemade relish. Lovely juicy burger and we had an enjoyable experience and will be back again soon!

anywhere that has Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones and Reservoir Dogs posters inside its establishment is going to get my vote, 100 percent. And I haven’t even started on the milkshake yet. I ordered the vanilla milkshake, having seen the awesome photo of it on Unilocal itself. it did not disappoint. probably the best milkshake I have had in this country. in fact definitely. oh my. even thinking about it again now is getting me into a hot mess. the fries were also awesome. the cheeseburger was average but I don;‘t care when everything else is so perfect.

Awesome burger joint, amazing burgers, amazing price. I’m Icelander living in London, and having my favourite burger joint in Iceland come to london is phenomenal. They even speak Icelandic here! Would 150% recommend this place to anyone for a tasty casual burger for lunch or dinner.

Fairly average burger joint. Burger was nothing special, taste was ok, meat a little bit tough came with small amount of salad and a tom, my chips came under cooked and soggy(really hope this was just a one off mistake) Really liked the massive selection of sauces on offer and the self help gherkins and jalapeños that was a nice touch. But unfortunately that’s about it. London has so many awesome burger joints on offer from patty and bun, dirty burger, 5 guys etc etc that this sits fairly low on my list. Might try again and hopefully they were just having a bad day when I went.

Reykjavik, Marylebone, Chelsea. After Tommi’s Burger Joint successfully established a permanent restaurant in Marylebone, they joined fellow Scandinavian Brand Joe and the Juice on King’s Road in Chelsea. They might have some competition just a few doors down, but I am confident that with their lovely Icelandic vibe and the great and simple menu, they can draw in a nice crowd in this part of London as they already do in Marylebone. Being a newly renovated space, the walls looked a little bit too perfect, but overall, I think they created another beautiful restaurant that matches their other shop in Marylebone and their original joint in Reykjavik by the harbour. If you have be to one of their other stores, you will feel at home and find your way around easily. If you have never been to Tommi’s Burger Joint, don’t worry, everything is very straight forward: go to the counter, make your order, take your drink, sit down, wait for your name to be called, get your burger delivered to your seat. As at their other shops, they offer a stripped-down menu, basically burgers and fries, in a friendly, relaxed and unpretentious environment. The fries are just that, fries. Nothing really to get excited about, but also nothing that puts you off. They offer a few different burgers, but actually, I think you should always go for the steak burger — or probably a special if one is on the menu. If you go for the standard burger, you get a basic, nicely executed burger that comes at a reasonable price. Today, I went for the steak burger with cheese and bacon and enjoyed every single bite. The patty was juicy, the cheese was melted and the bacon was nice and crispy. It came with just a little bit of lettuce, tasty pickles, onions, a bit of mustard and most importantly for me, no gherkin. And because the soft and quite neutral bun holds the burger together well, you do not need to cover yourself in tissues before tucking into the thing. Yes, I am a fan and by no means objective. I like Tommi’s Burger Joint just for being from Iceland, because it’s a fascinating country and Reykjavik one of my favourite cities. But even if you are not as biased towards anything Nordic as I am, if you like a simple but delicious burger and you can live without fancy options or rosemary fries, chances are high that you will also like Tommi’s Burger Joint. I will definitely be back soon, not least to check out some of their monthly specials.
