Whether you are visiting the hospital itself or just passing by the area, Toms 2 Café, located in the North Wing is a fantastic café and restaurant for a great meal at a reasonable price. The portions are huge and hot. Its canteen style, so you queue up with a tray, get your meal and then pay for it at a till, but we were there at lunch time and we could still find a seat all together (8 of us). Great views out of the window too of the river and surrounding areas.
