Yummy chicken karage and pumpkin croquets, and the waiters were friendly. However, I did get a bowl of Tonkotau ramen with no seasoning at all comparing to the two other Tonkotsu ramen at our table: Apparently the chef just simply forgot to add salt into my soup. Luckily they apologized right away and did not charge me for the noodle.

This place is terrible. Eccentric hours — no takeaway — dog arse attitude. Been trying to eat there for a few days but they act like its a bloody chef restaurant.(We open at 12, then close at 2, then reopen at 5 — no chance to take away food) Someone needs to take a trip to Japan and learn what ramen is all about. I haven’t been more disgusted by a poseur ramen place in all of my life. Call yourself earl of southwark noodles or something. Ramen place this is not. (Reference — I worked in Tokyo for years and ate ramen more times than this place has seen customers)

Pretty good tonkotsu ramen. Though for the price(£11) and only getting half an egg in the order, there is better ramen to be had for the price(ahem, Bone Daddies).

This is my second visit to this chain and the high standard and quality of food and service doesn’t change. What does though is the ambience. My first time was in Soho with the steamy busy feel of oriental street food. Here was a cleaner quieter affair with an eclectic décor and a background of inappropriate easy listening rock and country music. The variety of ramen noodle dishes in rich stocks with belly pork, chicken mince, spices and egg were equally delicious — as were the starters of dumplings and pumpkin croquets. For the feel though, Soho is the better choice.

Had the Karaage chicken burger for lunch. Was simple food done really really well with great service. Also had the homemade lemonade which was excellent. Will definitely be back to try the dinner menu.

Solid service(yes, in London), good beers(yes, in London) and food at a good value. Small menu, but a group of us found starters and entrees we all enjoyed. Solid!

Good ramen(a bit too greasy but really good in taste) and sashimi. Great staff too, we’ve been served really quickly and they’ve been all really polite. Definitely coming back!
