New, hip, minimalist café… moving Cheshire’s gentrifiction further eastward towards my doorstep. JUST DON’T CROSS THAT THRESHOLD, I like keepin the rent low. Thanks a bil.
Sorry for the hiatus peeps, grad stipend means I splurge for one month and starve for 2. Oh the days of a legit salary… nostalgic sigh.
Café Vergnano beans (Italy in my mouth!), copa/​rocket/​sun-​dried tomato bagels (from THE beigel bake down the Brick Lane way), and some great looking tramezzinos (diagonal cut sandwiches = triangle) that I didn’t get to try. Big slabs of cured meats, packaged dry pastas and other good stuff for sale… and catering options. IN.
A little pricey, but nice if you’d like to splurge for some fresh Italian ingredients. There is a daily special of soup and a main as well if you’d like a quick brunch with some East London character. People watch the fashion-​confused patrons of Beyond Retro, or smile at the kids playing at the local primary school across the way. Careful — do not to look too pedo-​y whilst doing the latter.
