Disappointed overall. They ask you to be 5 mins early, but started the appointment 5 minutes late, and given tight lunchtime-frames this wasn’t a good start. I had to reiterate«pedicure» 3 times, no not Gel just regular paint, and«pedicure» once again after being sat at the manicure station… finally in pedi seat and had to ask 3 – 4 times for the nails to be cut very very short(personal preference) which the girl didn’t really seem to understand. Hardly any cuticle work. Painting is not perfect, gaps down the outside of the nails which were missed and generally a rushed finish with smudges. I would have paid £15 for a file and paint, which is basically what I received, but this was not £25 worth of pedicure. Would not go back or recommend. Would have been better to go to Boots and by nail clippers, varnish remover and a nail colour and done it myself!

Ended up here via a GroupOn voucher for IPL and was very pleased I did. Super convenient if you live or work in the City… and they are open on weekends which is a plus as many shops and services in the area are not. Facilities are clean and modern, and staff are welcoming. The décor is mostly dark wood mixed with a light Eastern feel which is very calming. I think the regular costs for services can be a bit pricey but they have regular deals which are reasonable. They’ve done a great job so far and I’ll be back for more beautifying treatments. Who thought being pulsed with a hot laser could be so good?

Having gone here on an Amazon Local voucher for a deep tissue massage, it was very reasonably priced(£29 for an hour). Non-discounted costs are fairly high as all massages are, but good value. The location is not the most obvious, but it’s relatively straight forward to get to provided you don’t mind asking the receptionist where to go. It’s in the heart of Monument though, which is brilliantly convenient. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly, and offered a glass of water. Paperwork and admin sorted out I was guided to the massage room by a masseur Joe. What followed was undeniably the most competent and therapeutic deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. Joe exudes both warmth and an incredible amount of expertise — he’s clearly extremely qualified. I felt excellent afterwards and will absolutely be returning. They’re marginally more expensive than my usual place, but they’ve found a convert in me.

Hypoxi Zone or ‘Treatments at Bank’ is located in the basement of an office building off of King William Street between Monument and Bank stations. It may be a bit hard to find but the service and quality of massage I received certainly made it worth the effort. Oh, I also went to the wrong Clements Lane which I guess is easy enough to do. Make sure you plug in the proper postcode if you use for travel directions.
