Absolutely blown away by the quality of the pizza at this hidden gem on Lavender Hill. So close to Clapham Junction too.
Service was incredibly friendly and the pizza was handmade, fresh, with delicious Neapolitan ingredients like homemade sausage.
Surprisingly it was easy to get a table, so a great option for a casual meal out.

British friend: ‘I promise the pizza here is good.’ While I trust this friend for other things, as a NY’er with my favorite family run pizza place in the Bronx I’ve been frequenting since born, I know well enough to realize the difference in standards for what a Brit considers good pizza.
In this case, it IS good pizza. Not the greasy kind in the NYC. Not the deep dish in Chicago. Not the tomato-​heavy pizza in Roma. But a Napolean style that works.
Fabiana is welcoming and serving us while her partner Luca is in the kitchen throwing the dough and making the pies. Our burrata and prosciutto starter was good. My pizza — the Salsicce e friarielli — was very nice in taste and size and a great deal for £8.95. Carafes of wine for under £10 also.
Good pizza. Nice people. Low prices. And you know you’re frequenting a locally-​owned establishment rather than a large chain. Can’t say I see any downside in this scenario. Molti grazie!
