Vue Stratford City

A decent sized cinema with a decent amount of showings. It’s big enough that there’s a great variety of shows/​sessions al the time, and close enough for convenient access.
Being in Stratford it’s quite easy to get to with multiple tube/​train lines, and with food court/​Westfield around it could basically be your family day out.
It’s a clean cinema which is what I like, and leather seats is a plus in making the environment feel clean!

Talk about choices! They have about 78.899 975 films showing at the same time lol everything good shows here, it’s very clean and since its located in the Westfield centre you can shop or grab something to eat until your movie starts. One of my fave cinemas in London :)

As close to an American movie theatre as you can get in London. The screens are huge. The seats are comfy (for an extra few pounds, try the VIP seats — even comfier and more spacious). And the selection of snacks and drinks is excellent.
My only gripe is the quality of the nacho cheese served with the… well, with the nachos. It’s runny and tasteless — like snot. I realise that makes it sound like I’ve tried my own snot. I swear I haven’t though, unlike many of the people with whom I ride the tube every morning (I see what you’re doing, you filthy human!!!).
I’ll be back to watch many more flicks here, that’s for sure. But I’ll stick with the popcorn.

Big 17 screen cinema in the Westfield mall that has comfortable seats, good sound and picture quality. Often fairly empty so easy to get seats. Decent selection of snacks and candy but of course fairly pricey. Usually a good idea to skip standing in line for candy outside and buy the candy after tickets have been checked (there is a small cart with candy, sodas and such there).

I was thrilled with the comfort, cleanliness, sound quality and picture quality of this theater. I have never reviewed a movie theater in my life, but for a megaplex, this is on of the best I’ve been to in ages. I bought the extra luxury seat, and it was really comfy. Not sure you could ask for much more. As an American expat newly coming over to Londontown, this particular Vue really rivals something like Los Angeles’ ArcLight or Landmark chains!

A 17 screen cinema with wide variety of movie options, waiting area, refreshment and playing area for kids. Looks near and well arranged.
As Westfield is the busiest shopping centre in London (probably), its a pain getting upto the venue. But it better once you are in.
The screens are comparitively bigger and sound system is excellent. There are VIP seats which are not worth the extra pounds as it is not much different from the normal seats except for the leather covers. Who cares!!!
The weekdays tickets are cheaper compared to weekends. Above all, there is Kids AM every weekend, where you can watch movies for £1.50 with your kids. Nice Isn’t it!!!
Overall nice experience. My default movie venue.

This massive 17 screen cinema just above the food court at Westfield Stratford City has become my cinema of choice when those closer to me are not showing what I want to see.
For a start it’s much cheaper than Islington Vue, it’s far classier, has incredibly steep seating so you have no restricted views, some screens are HUGE, the sound quality is excellent, the lobby area is sophisticated and on a Friday night at 8:30pm it was not a heaving mass of cinema goers hence not much of a problem getting a last minute ticket to see the latest movie.
On certain days there are discounts aplenty apart from at peak times (i.e. Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays — notice Wednesday is full price as most people will be two for one-​ing with their Orange phone). £10 peak, £8.50 Mon, Tues, Thurs).
OK so it lacks character but this is a multiplex, what do you expect? I’m sure the concessions stand are the usual rip-​off but with so many places to grab a bite to eat beforehand do you really need that skip-​full of popcorn? Yeah? well OK then.
One tip, don’t leave the centre via the shopping centre when the movie is finished unless you want to get in the way of the cleaners. Exit to the street and walk that way — it’s quicker anyway.
