Wafflemeister

Not sure if it is the way Belgian waffles should be, but I find that the waffles are extremely chewy and sweet… I really think that this is a tourist trap.

Definitivamente, mi perdición de dulce. Cada vez que paso por este Wafflemeister tengo que parar a comprar. Ya he probado todos sus gofres y me quedo sin dudo con el que contiene helado y sirope. Mi preferido es de vainilla y sirope de chocolate con leche. Sólo de pensarlo se me cae la baba.
Creo que este tipo de establecimientos triunfarían en cualquier ciudad. Su calidad de gofre es especial, se nota que son caseros, una masa especial. Las colas suelen ser largas para comprar y es por algo. Sin duda lo recomiendo si alguien viene a Londres, hay varios de estos establecimientos.

Amazing, delicious fresh waffles. Here’s a couple that I like strawberry and Belgian white chocolate, classic waffle with ice cream. And the cream and cookies.
They are exactly what you need while shopping at Oxford st.
They have a wide range of waffles and toppings and a few choices of coffee too.

Omg ! Falling in love with this waffle ! Have u ever smell it when u came out from bond station? Haha u needa serve when it is hot ! Love all of the flavor ! A must try dessert in ldn !

This place does not get enough reviews and surprisingly so since so many people come here! I always see queues during the day but my friends and I went around 8:30 pm when it wasn’t so busy. I tried the cookies and cream one and its SOOO delicious. What sucks is you have to pay about 80 pence more to get the waffle warm but it’s so delicious I couldn’t complain. You get to choose what kind of chocolate drizzle you want on the waffle and it is all freshly made.

Maybe I came on the wrong night or maybe Parisian Belgian waffles are too good, but I was sorely disappointed by this waffle place.
My friend and I were craving a sweet dessert and we Unilocaled places that were still open at 10pm. When we got there, we realized it was a «store front only» place with no seating anywhere near the vicinity.
We ordered the «Go Bananas» which had sliced bananas, dark chocolate drizzle, whipped cream and nuts. This sounds like it would be a really good, but the lukewarm and kind of stale waffle ruined the experience. Also, the customer service was pretty terrible. My friend tried to order the peanut butter chocolate but she had to tell them 3 times before they realized she didn’t want just chocolate. When we ordered the waffle, I ordered dark chocolate drizzle, however they added milk chocolate instead. When I pointed this out, I had no offer of a new waffle but rather, the guy said he might’ve told the guy in the back to add milk chocolate. We were two of 4 people in line, and really, the reasonable thing would have been to just make another waffle.
All in all, for 4.40 pounds and the long walk this definitely wasn’t worth it. Maybe next time will be better?

I don’t even know what to say. How about AMAZING? Delicious??? Decadent? Yes, all of the above.
The Oreo waffle is absolutely amazing. I went for the more sweet one, and I don’t think I need to have another dessert for about a year. It was so absolutely perfect, a little warm, and oh so delightful.
There are a ton of options to satisfy your sweet tooth, and plenty with no chocolate for when you’re in one of those «I want something sweet, but not chocolatey» moods.
Quick and easy sugar fix!

I would have to say… these are the best waffles in London. I die a little with every bite.

I don;t think I truly had Belgium waffles, if this is the standard. Ah-​Maz-​Balls. Seriously the best thing (almost) I ate on my trip. Unfortunately for my waist line, the stand was located right outside my hotel. So guess who was picking one up on her way back to the hotel every night??? But they were Soooooo good!
Edges were sweet and crunchy, chocolate was clearly belgium, dark and decadent, and it got all over my hands and face. Sorry Big Ben and West End, but when I leave, I will miss you Wafflemeister most of all.

Soggy waffle and what tasted like sugar free whip cream. It wasnt good. Perhaps if i got a different one i wouldve liked it better.

Is there anything on Earth more delicious than a freshly made belgian waffle? If there is then I haven’t found it yet!
I’ve been past here many times but usually had other plans for food until recently when I thought it was about time I had some of their doughy goodness.
Since it was I was my first time I thought, why not go nuts, and so I did! I ordered Go Bananas, a Belgian waffle with whipped cream, banana slices, a drizzle of Belgian chocolate fudge and mixed nuts. The result; a mouth orgasm in the middle of Oxford Street!
With 4 locations in London, it’s probably a good thing there isn’t one of these places close to my office or where I live because if there was then I would probably resemble the Pillsbury Doughboy.
I will however be back many times in the future to experiment with their many different waffles and toppings in my quest to find the perfect waffle. So far it’s close!
