Waitrose Steak & Oyster

Now where to start.
Let me paint a picture.
Waitrose have a steak and oyster bar on the underground level in Canary Wharf. As I write this, I am realising that I am not helping myself when I already complain how hard it is to get a seat around 6pm on a weekday!
Being that that this is right next to my building, I can get from desk to steak in about 2mins (annoying lifts permitting)! On most occasions, the magic S-​word will get my team racing downstairs to sample whats on offer.
So Waitrose have a steak bar, and they also have a meat counter in-​house so… this allows you to get a fairly priced quality steak and wine (they have a large selection of wine as theyre a supermarket!).
Check it: a good sirloin, and two sides for about £14. Ya hear me?!
Add in a lovely glass of red, and baby, now we’re cooking. Well, obviously they are, but you know what I mean.
So yes, we sometimes come down here for a late lunch or early dinner but be forewarned it can be hard to get a seat, as there are I think…12(?) in total and not always next to each other.
Will I go back? I think I will go tomorrow :)
