This used bookshop supports people living with HIV through its sales so you have a great excuse to buy everything you want! The sales staff are friendly (the Scottish guy is my favourite!) and really helpful. The paperbacks are 50 p each or you can get 5 paperbacks for £2! They’ve got a large backroom with a number of children’s books, cookbooks, nonfiction and textbooks carefully catalogued. They’ve got a number of classics on hand as well, so if you need a text for a class it’s a great place to pick them up. If you ask, they have a shabby but serviceable toilet in the back room, it’s one of the few places near the station that has a public toilet.
