Me and group of friends tried this place few times but still nobody knows what is this place exactly. Style, theme, music, drinks? No identity. No vibe. Remember this place was called Gold Bar years ago and those were the times. Then re-opened under different management with rude door policy(didnt/couldnt survived) and now White Rabbit is here. AS they say sometimes you dont fix if aint broken. This place needs to find its soul. Understand its local people. Make better cocktails, train the staff properly, and get a better crowd. Hope it will get better soon.

Dark, red, sexy. And the décor stands up to the test of daytime drinking. You don’t see any harsh transformations… like your date last night. Came here on an early weekend evening. Place was empty so we got the window booth. Music wasn’t too loud to have a conversation but it was nice to have in the background. One of the bartenders, sorry I forgot his name, made us some mean margaritas, salt rim and all. They had a happy hour deal and it certainly made us happy. Also stopped in on a different saturday night late, like 11, and the doorman was friendly, the place wasn’t too jam packed but just enough where we would have had to stand awkwardly in the middle of the space and had to make space for passersby while chatting, no elbow room for a last drink makes me just want to go home. But I certainly want to try the place again when it’s hoppin.

Went here a while back and it was a real disappointment. We were planning on having dinner and seeing the Friday night burlesque show and called ahead to see if we needed to book a table(explaining that we’d like dinner while watching the show or beforehand) and were told that there was no need to book and that we could eat downstairs. Completely incorrect. We arrived and found that most of the tables in the main bar were reserved and that the downstairs wasn’t open. We managed to get a seat where someone hadn’t shown up and ordered pizzas, which took an hour to come. We even saw the pizza delivery guy standing outside for ages waiting for someone to come and collect and pay for our order. The food was fine but came with no cuttlery so we ended up covered in grease and feeling a bit messy(try eating a fiorentina pizza with your hands not easy!). By this time the burlesque show had started so we ended up having to rush our food before trying to gain entry to the basement impossible! There were people standing on the stairs and we couldn’t even peek in to see anything. We ended up having to give up and went back up to the main bar we ended up complaining to the waitress(who incidentally was very nice and none of this was her fault) who apologised and said she could see our point. The manager(I assume he was the manager as he never introduced himself) came over and told us to push our way in to the downstairs no apologies, no acknowledgement that we had had a pretty rubbish night all in all pretty rude. I will never go back here this was meant to be a one off treat for me and my partner after having a stressful week and it was a complete waste of time and money.
