New bakery, new love. Cute, under a train line archway set-up just past Netil market. Excellent little croissant discs soaked in butter and sugar, came in various flavours, the original was yummy. Beautiful cakes, pastries and baguettes, Stilton bread muffin was also lovely. Excellent addition to the area and another reason to come to Hackney.

Amazing pastries. Stumbled across this place leaving Neil Market and nibbled on a Kouign Amman, a delicious little sweet made from compressed croissant dough? I think? Anyway, it was wonderful, so I came back with my wife and mother-in-law and had a coconut version of the aforementioned Amman as well as a Strawberry Rhubarb tartlet and another delicious thing that now escapes my mind. All of them were delicious; I don’t think you can go wrong here. Just don’t expect anything other than bread and pastry, as it’s basically a market stall set up at the front of their bakery operation under an arch. I don’t even think they have coffee, but you can grab that around the corner in Netil Market. And they’re only open on Saturday. But if you can thread the needle of these constraints, their pastries are totally worth it.
