Yelping Christmas Drinks

I was appalled by the messy table at first, but then i realised the tables were holding little bundles of festive joy! From plates of candies to things that explode when you rip them apart (who can blame them though), it was a cheery corner in the Old Fountain. The secret santa thing was cute; i received a pint of good strong stout in exchange for a cup warmer (thanks Enrique!) which is more than a fair trade in my opinion.
All it all, it was a merry evening. Happy holidays everyone.

I nice cosy event that worked really well, not so much an event but more of a gathering of friends for an evening.
I couldn’t stay for very long, long enough for a glass of wine and the chance to catch up with known Unilocalers and some new ones seen but never spoken to. The Secret Santa was a nice touch with mostly foodie gifts being exchanged (who would have thought it!).
Unfortunately missed out on the food, but that’s the way my life is at the moment, it was a really fun evening after a horrible day, and perked me up before heading to the study books for the rest of the evening.
Beth was a great host and was constantly moving around and making sure that glasses were topped up (apart from mine but I was limiting myself) and keeping things moving.
Wish I could have stayed for longer but definitely looking forward to the next one!

What a charming evening — cosy pub, a table chock full of sweets and chocolate reindeer and, of course, Santa’s little Unilocalers (sorry). I felt immediately welcomed by the sight of red balloons emblazoned with Unilocal logos and by Beth offering me a nice glass of red.
Was lovely to meet everyone and exchange a cheeky gift. My head massager was going down a treat at my house afterwards, thanks Ian! Really enjoyed my first Unilocal outing and look forward to attending more in 2016. Thanks, Unilocal

Mais quelle soirée trop sympathique ! La table parfaitement décorée pour ce Noël Unilocalesque en avance, une hôtesse fabuleuse (Beth, you are amazing), du vin blanc pour réchauffer mon petit coeur gelé d’hiver, une fine équipe de Unilocaleur plus ou moins nouveaux (people, it was very nice to meet you!), de super cadeaux pour tout le monde et un charmant pub pour nous accueillir jusqu’au bout de la nuit !
Bref, j’étais extrêmement contente d’avoir pu passer cette soirée en compagnie de 12 personnes particulièrement agréables. Petit événement mais GRAND moment pour clôturer cette année folle en émotions.

Great evening with some fellow Unilocalers! It was really nice to meet people from many different places, especially those who have been using Unilocal in other countries before. It gives off a sense of a big worldwide Unilocal community and it’s great to be part of that. Thank you Beth for organising this! I look forward to more events like this one. :)

Had a fabulous evening hosted by Beth. It was so nice to meet everyone in such a lovely and intimate setting (my first event as a Unilocal Elite). It was great to hear everyone’s stories while drinking wine, eating chocolate and sharing fun Secret Santa gifts. I look forward to meeting this group again at future events! (It was also so cool to think you can join in with groups in other countries — will definitely try that out next time I’m in the States.) Thanks so much, Beth!

Small but beautifully-​formed Unilocal event hosted by Bethany. The Secret Santa icebreaker was a fun idea. Good company in a chilled pub, we even welcomed a Texan interloper! Only sorry that I couldn’t stay for a burger supper. I look forward to more intimate Unilocal gatherings in the New Year.

Just arrived back from an epic night with Unilocalers from all over the world! I had such a great time. Thanks Beth for organising such a fabulous Christmassy event, filled with crackers, wine and secret santa.
The event was so chilled, like a group of old friends who met up for Christmas drinks. This is one of the reasons why I love Unilocal,such a strong sense of community among fellow Unilocalers. I loved how we accidentally met an American Unilocaler and he joined us for the event and dinner, it’s exactly what Unilocal is about! The more the merrier!
Can’t wait for the next event like this! A big 4 stars from me!
