Yo! Sushi

Say what you want about the Yo Sushi chain but you can’t deny, it’s super fun to snatch a plate from the conveyor belt.
I came here because of blue plate Thursday. Unfortunately, the branch had not received the memo that they were running the promo. But staff were nice and acknowledged the hiccup, allowing us to take advantage of the offer anyway. It wasn’t the full 40 plates advertised on the email but I guess we’ll have to write an email about that and sort it out later.
Good was fresh and lovely as usual, but I’m giving it three stars instead of four because of the promo mix up which lead to the bill being much higher than it should have.

I tend to visit yo sushi as I enjoy the brand, normally it’s all the same standard regardless of where in the country Not here, poor staff and poor quality. Try a different place guys save your money

Although this isn’t exactly fine dining, sitting in the middle of a busy station with comuters walking past you, it’s a really nice branch of Yo Sushi!
Being lactose intolerant I do struggle in some restaurants but the staff at this branch were really helpful and knowlegable when I asked for help!
Food was lovely & they had a very quick turn around! I love the excitement of waiting for something I want to come around on the turnstyle.
All in all a nice branch and a great place to grab some yummy sushi!

Portions are crazy small and don’t look like the picture. Smallest sliver of fish ever in the maki rolls. Definitely not returning even though it’s a cool concept.

Voilà une idée bien sympa pour manger un petit bout avant de prendre le train. Si comme moi vous arrivez toujours à l’avance partout, vous serez ravis de vous installer le long du tapis roulant sur lequel défilent des petites assiettes de tapas japonaises. Il y en a pour tous les goûts, et certains sont très originaux (voir photo). Petits bémols: ce n’est pas donné (comptez au moins 3 – 4 £ pour une mini-​assiette, et il en faut au moins 3 – 4 par personne pour avoir mangé) et ce qui est supposé être chaud né le reste pas assez longtemps. Mais tout est bon. Et le service est très sympa. J’y mange à chaque fois avant de reprendre l’Eurostar direction Bruxelles.
Yo Sushi est situé tout à fait à l’opposé du check-​in Eurostar, remonter le couloir principal en laissant Hamleys à votre gauche et MAC à votre droite. Au fond tourner à droite puis à gauche. Yo Sushi est là, en face des deux petits supermarchés.

Wow! I just had an amazing time here for lunch!!!
The food is pretty much the same whichever Yo! you go to. So it had to be something different that made my experience so good. It was the staff. The staff were amazing. The manageress was really bubbly, full of joy and you couldn’t help by be happy and enjoy your meal around her. The food came out promptly and I got my green tea immediately. There was zero waiting time, which was great because I didn’t have breakfast #yolo
I’m definitely coming back here. This is a great spot if your near Kings Cross/​St Pancras, especially if you’re in a rush for your train, teleport, helicopter. You know, whatever floats your boat, I don’t judge.
So get over there now and munch on some dank sushi!

I tough it was a little expensive from what they have. poor variety and the rolls and maki and nigiri are a mountain of rise.
I wouldn’t go back there.

My friend from Singapore says the sushi over there puts Yo Sushi to shame, but til I go over there, Yo Sushi will have to do! Its best to come on Mondays when all the plates are £2.50, turns out to be great value!

My visit to Yo! Sushi was the first time I had visited a sushi bar, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The staff were helpful and gave clear intructions on how the system works. The food tasted good, as far as I was concerned and I would visit again.

Really bad quality of food, I have had to send dishes back several times and often if you order something fresh you end up waiting for absolutely ages.
I know it’s in the station so it’s just supposed to be a pit stop but even during their busy lunch hour the staff seemed uninterested and I saw plenty of dishes that should have been taken off the conveyor belt hours before…
My advice? Go get a Chopd instead.
