Had the private room and ordered a fair amount from the a la carte menu. Food was pretty good. What stood out was the rib eye, cooked perfectly medium rare with fantastic seasoning, not too much but perfect, the fries that came with it were also really good, lovely seasoning and crunch. Perhaps because we in a separate room, the wine wasn’t poured as much as expected but the server really knew his stuff and certainly made 110% effort. Would certainly go back but all for the rib eye and red wine. Perfection.

Last night I ended up at Zoilo’s for their private room tasting menu and boy, did it not disappoint. Zoilo’s can be described as Argentinian tapas and is set up for that with bar seating so everyone can sit alongside each other and share. We had booked their ‘hidden dining room’ which means that you can choose one of two set menus. We went for the sharing menu at £42.95. At first it doesn’t seem like a lot of food as you only get half of a small plate but we were stuffed by the end of it. We started with amazing bread and smoked butter, which was actually the highlight of the meal for me as I am a carb-fiend. The smoked butter, my god. I also loved the decadent hot melted provoleta(cheese) with almonds and oregano honey and the grilled flank steak with bone marrow. There were some lighter options on the menu like the crab on toast and the radicchio salad with stilton and hazelnuts, which balanced out the decadence of the steak and cheese beautifully. We finished up with the dulche de leche crème brûlée and the tiny little cakes. You will not regret ordering this menu! It is expensive though, ending up costing over £70 each, once we had included a few lovely bottles of Argentinian wine. This is a place occasion kind of place!

I had heard good things and Ziolo did not disappoint. Low lighting and a bustling atmosphere that makes you forget where you are. We were looked after by Sebastien who was so accommodating even when we were being a bit fussy about the wine. He really did everything to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Stand out dishes for me were the Seabass ceviche and the flank steak with celeriac and bone marrow(wow), but the pig head croquettes, the beetroot salad and the house breads with goats curd were wonderful too! The prices were also reasonable for the quality I thought. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic place for a date or a quiet dinner with family member or a friend. Food is incredible. Each dish was a superstar. We ordered 3 desserts between 2 people, after indulging the tasty tapas dishes, and it was worth eating all those sweets. Milk cake was presented with finesse, cookies in the box were also a nice touch. Whatever arrived at the table is getting maximum amount of stars. The chefs at this place clearly are passionate striving for excellence. Service is great and knowledgeable staff. Ambience is quite romantic. Wish the place would also be opened on Sundays.

Super great find for Argentinian tapas in Marylebone with a really cool /low-key atmosphere and delicious food. Service is attentive and yet not intrusive. Had a couple of rounds of empanadas(beef and goat cheese). The folded ones were a bit too bready, but all delicious. Did the seabass ceviche(yum), monkfish liver and grilled octopus which were all different and really tasty. Also did the pork belly, but didn’t love that as much as I expected. Seafood was all executed really well. Probably do a good steak too, but didn’t get to that one. Will have to try again!

Different, but Wonderful! Full of Life, energy. Simple menu, for a Tapas style restaurant. But each choice looks wonderful. Crème Brûlée with banana split ice crème on top — who would think? Everyone enjoying themselves. Best Empanadas I ever put in my mouth. Excellent staff. You get the feeling that each of the staff are owners. They make you feel special. A true hidden gem!

Must visit. Been here thrice now. Great ambience. Nothing on the menu that we did not like. Great wine pairings. Get a table downstairs by the open kitchen. Get the empanadas and steak. Top 3 S. American place in London.

Tapas-style Argentinian. Visited for the second time this week and was very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. Recommend the empanadas and scallop + pork belly plates very highly. Would skip the octopus though. Could be a bit larger, there is a big bar section to eat at but not that many tables so recommend booking in advance and specifying a seating preference. All in all a great experience and addition to the Marylebone dining scene, will definitely be returning.

Was heading to a more well known steak chain restaurant when I walked past this place. My co-luncher had been before and suggested we try it. Really glad we did and I will certainly be returning again soon. Had great personality and delivered authentic food. Malbecs and red meat from Mendoza are always a great combination! Good value for money and so much more appealing than a gaucho!

Zoilo is a new Argentinian tapas place in Marylebone. Argentina is known for its steak, but for tapas… who knew! A few bottles of Malbec and sharing portions of steak sure sounded ideal for a cold February night. Overall I was impressed with the food at Zoilo, though some dishes were clearly better than others. To start we ordered a selection of classic empanadas, which was a good way to kick-start the meal(the beef ones were the most memorable). For«mains»(remember these are all sharing tapa sized portions), we of course went with steak. The Ojo de bife & Chimichurry was tasty/flavourful though a bit fattier than I would have liked. I actually preferred the Entraña, skirt steak as it was less leaner and nearly half the price. The Prawns«al ajo» which was accompanied by some pork belly & chorizo was great as well. The other dishes of note were the Mackerel«escabeche» which was a smoked fish dish(my friends liked this one less) and the overly garlicky but still tasty Chips«provenzal.» I was with a large group, so we were given the private downstairs dining room which was great setting for a semi-intimate group of 6 – 8 people. There was a minimum, but with wines and a selection of tapas we easily exceeded the amount. The restaurant itself spans 2 floors, the top level is a wide bar, where many a patron enjoyed tapas and wine. Downstairs is the main dining room with a open kitchen. It’s a nice space with exposed brick and black and white tiles. All in, Zoilo is a fine addition to the Marylebone dining scene, and worth checking out!
