Toby Carvery

I have been here a few times and to be honest i am not to keen. They offer a good buffet and tends to be worth the money. The staff are friendly and the prices are fair. The disadvantage is that they do not offer a vegetarian meal and sometimes this can be unappealing depending on what you are craving

Well from my many experiences of going to Toby cavery they have always been fantastic.
They serve some nice drinks if you just want to for a drink, they have a nicely sized outside area for when the sun is out. Also more importantly there carvery is delicious. There is the standard vegetables with things like turkey, pork, gammon and beef. They also have the nice sauces like cranberry, mint, mustard etc.
The service is very nice and they have a great selection of deserts. They are nothing fancy but they are things you want, including an apple pie with a bottemless jug of custard, nicklebockaglory, chocolate cakes etc.
The downside to the place is that they can be quite stingy on the meat and you should not be afaid to ask for more as they really dont give much
