A good family restaurant which despite the name usually has some good vegitarian options.
This has suited me as I can have a steak while my friend has a vegitarian meal.
Also good for families, withquite good ‘kids deals’.
There are a lot of little hideaways, so you could bump into someone you know!

I love the Foxburrow/​beefeater. We usually go there a couple of times a month because we know the service is brilliant, the choice is good and the price is always reasonable. Eating in the bar is nice for a quick meal and the restaurant is lovely also. Good grill meals as well as all your usual english food and some pasta dishes. One time there was a slight delay and they offered us a free drink on the house.

Well situated on the A12, and near to the Travel Inn, this is a nice little place to eat. It’s good value and the food is basic pub menu.
I love the layout of the place-​there are many little hideaways, so that you can eat in privacy. The tables are well spread out.
There is ample parking outside.
There is a bar as your walk through the door, so you can have a pre-​dinner drink if you feel like it, or just come for a drink. There are benches outside for the summer months, where you can enjoy the sunshine (Hopefully!)
