Just been taken over, ie new management. I live down the road and this really was a local pub with the occasional game of pool against retired gentleman on a Saturday night. Now it has been taken over, it really offers opportunity to the younger generation, and everything inbetween, with plans to include childrens games and activities. As currently the competition down the road ‘The Plough’ is currently been refurbished/​redeveloped, this should be the place to go for locals right now.

The Red Lion Blundeston
This is what one would call the village pub, the sort of place that if your not a local and you walk in there on a Saturday night everyone would stop drinking and the place would go deadly silent.
Then every one would carry on as normal as if you didn’t exsit
In the summer on can sit outside and watch the world go by although in Blundeston there is very little happening apart from the No 29 bus which runs every 45 minutes. The village is a quiet place, there may be the odd dog walker pass by and stop for a natter. But the Red Lion is the centre of business and night life in this sleepy village where one can enjoy a drink in the old fashioned way
