Friendly and clean sit-​in or takeaway fish and chip shop. The menu is pretty much standard, I had a mini cod and chips (sitting in) and a tea. Fish was crisply battered but the bottom was a bit soggy as the cod was watery. The chips were good and not as greasy as the standard fare. My tea was very weak. Staff great, very friendly. Overall fine, but not the best.

Great for the special at £7.75, haddock or Cod, bread and butter, pea’s garden or mushy, unlimited tea or coffee and a sweet. The restaurant is clean and warm, with good friendly service.
