Tasty food, decent coffee — and when I dropped my toastie due to carrying too much stuff, they replaced it for free. Recommended for the service alone, though the range of fresh food is also great.

The menu and prices here are really great but what ruined it for me was the service. I have never experienced such rudeness from a server before. When I tried to ask a question about the menu to the woman at the till early Monday morning she was very unhelpful. Then, after I had made my order she just stood there and did nothing. Her tone was like she resented me giving her my custom. In the end I gave up before paying and walked away as she stared at me. There are other places to get breakfast at Luton where at least I got listened to, even if I had to pay a higher price!

I normally don’t like to buy sandwiches but I was hungry and I didn’t have much time before boarding. The New Yorker looked good, but I was horrified when they toasted it! I thought it was a BLT so it didn’t seem necessary to toast a sandwich with lettuce and tomato. However, it was a very brief toast so the bread was warm but the veg was somehow still a little chilled and not at all wilted. The coarse bread made the sandwich substantial and the fact that it was warm made it a satisfying meal. Good lunch if you’re in a hurry and I’ll revisit the place if I ever find myself in this godforsaken airport again.

I used to dislike flying out of Luton Airport but nowadays I’m almost looking forward to it… Benugo has changes my perception of Luton Airport!
I know that once I’ve made the long track to Luton; successfully dropped off my luggage; and made it safely to the other side of security… Benugo is waiting for me; and more specifically, a Londoner (grilled breakfast sandwich) and a good cuppa coffee!
Seriously, skip the long line at Starbucks, don’t even bother with «The Real Food Company» and head straight to Benugo. It’s worth it!

Coffee etc seem decent enough. They should pay the staff more as a smile would be a welcome sight in this rather stressful environment. There are bench seats for folk to share and tables and chairs if you don’t.
