Red Chilli

Found this gem on my recent trip to Luton/​UK. Found it completely by accident — as the restaurant was right next door to my hotel and found it on the 2^nd day of my 5-​day stay. Too bad I didn’t find it on the first.
Food is great — their appetizers (Chicken Tikka) and entrees (Salmon Sukka, Chicken TIkka Masala and a Chicken Mirch that i can’t remember the exact name) are top-​notch and the service is great. I really liked their décor as well as the fact that they serve the entee on a steel tray that is piping hot — so it keeps your food warm.
Only thing i didn’t like is the Garlic naan — it was very buttery, and very, very ‘soft’. I was expecting a slightly more traditional naan.
I ended up going there 3 nights in a row (and once for lunch) and wouldn’t mind going more often — too bad my trip ended after 5 days.

The quality of the food is pretty good here. But that is about all that I am positive about.
It was difficult to communicate with some of the staff in english. Also the staff didn’t seem to have any training, and the service was chaotic, which was annoying at times.
The decoration of the restaurant is not cosy and definately not romantic. No paintings on the walls, but coloured lights with pub style carpet on the floor. The table (for two) was to small really for our two curries with rice, our plates and drinks.
The desert was not nice (ice cream which looked better on the photo). I did not finish it.
I recommend to go somewhere else.

This is the Indian restaurant to eat in, take away or home delivery. It is well known for serving ‘best flavours’ of India.
They have got extensive range of traditional as well as new dishes. They offer 10% discount on all take away orders over £12. they also offer free local home delivery service on orders over £12.
The menu includes, starters, all time favourites, Balti dishes, vegetable dishes, biryani dishes, set meals and even some chef special dishes. Wine list has got wide range of beers, wines and soft drinks.
The restaurant is very decent from inside. If you really want to have a relaxing meal you can have it a go. They even cater to suit your taste i.e. mild, or hot.
