Took our Floridian friends here for dinner. Excellent staff, service and atmosphere. The food was fresh and hot, great value for money. Would totally recommend

Went here for Friday lunch. We both had salads — one warm chicken and one goats cheese and both were very nice and good value for money. The pub sells Aspalls cider which is always a big plus for me. The chips have a lot of room for improvement — a more home made style would really improve the quality quickly and easily; I’m never a fan of oven style chips which never taste or look that great and unfortunately this is what the fox and hounds sells. If you’re after an upmarket place to eat then this is probably not it but it serves good quality food at a reasonable price and the bar staff are helpful and friendly.
