Great pub in the middle of Lytham. Love to grab a pint here every time I come home. Iconic English pub.

The Taps was my go-to pub when I lived in Lytham years ago. I’m glad to discover it is still going strong on Henry Street, which now consists of even more eateries. It’s been extended over the years and is now less a straightforward pub with good beer. There are attractive bits and pieces on the walls with a Lytham theme and each menu is strangely attached to a small pillow. They seem to do food though I didn’t try it. The beer selection is pretty good with about six or seven ales. My one complaint was that there was music playing at an intrusive level-grrrr! I have a thing about music in pubs-cocktail bars no problem but not in pubs please. Probably my age.

Cute little local bar that seems to be the hip spot to go to, discovered the recorderlig drink here, soooo good! always got the passion fruit as much as i could. Good place to hang out with old friends and drink to your hearts’ content. true epitome of what a british pub would be like. The only downfall was that the workers came around rushing us to finish our drinks and get out because they’re closing up. Must be a culture thing, we’ve definitely stayed longer than we were supposed to have in American places and they just waited, yes, i know, we were wrong for staying, we just lost track of time, and always made sure to tip well! But here they aren’t afraid to say hey, we’re closing, get out! ok ok a lot nicer but basically same message. :) But other than that, I would come back for sure, service was great otherwise.

Great bar. Small but good. During The British Open they cover the floor with real grass. Pretty cool. From what I understand it gets pretty smelly after a day or two though. None the less I highly recommend this bar

This must be the best pub on the fylde coast for cask beer. the pub has won many awards and all well deserved. We visit once a month and they always seem to have a beer on sale which we have not had before and somtimes not heard of. Food is available each day and the pub is open allday.

Brilliant place for real ale, won loads of awards. The selection is wide-ranging and superb, beer is always spot on. The place gets packed in the evenings and at weekends(like sardines!) but it has atmosphere. The best pub in Lytham by far. I visit there frequently and I live miles away!

Old traditional pub, wooden floors and no music and full of the over 40s! Apart from that, good staff and beer. Warm welcome and good atmospher.
