Good food, nice building but very slow in the kitchen. Waited over 40 minutes at 3PM for a couple of sandwiches baring in mind it was pretty quiet in there at that time… Mystery… Seems the people on the kitchen were just standing around chatting (they have a glass wall to the kitchen). Odd.

Spotted this new pub/restaurant today so decided to pop in to see what it is like.
Plenty of parking spaces and easy to find on the main road with a great outdoor seating area.
This place was only opened in March 2014 so it is very clean and decorated well.
Upon entrance a friendly member of staff welcomed us and offered bar or table service. We decided to sit inside for table service. The waitress was attentive and friendly during our visit and very helpful.
Unfortunately both our meals had problems. One of us had uncooked chips and some missing ingredients from the meal. The other had a cold meal that needed to be returned.
The waitress dealt with issues well and apologised for the problems. The bill was discounted and some good will vouchers offered.
Overall this a lovely setting and atmosphere place to go but the food could have been much better.
I hope to try this place again in the future and hope the food has improved.
