Quiet with nice décor, excellent service and great food. It can get quite busy so it’s worth booking a table.

Other Qype reviews had led us to Anupam and it scored highly on both quality of food and the lack of oil used. The staff are well trained and even on a Sunday night it was busy early. My friends had a mixed tandoori starter that looked excellent and the tandoori chili chicken was a fiery triumph. Maybe tandoori is the thing here, my onion bhajia starter was two flat discs slightly larger than those toffee pennies you get in Quality Street and pretty underwhelming. A nice place to visit after you’ve polished off the Malvern Hills!

Not great, dansak far too sweet. Red rose at the end a silly gimmick. I dont know where everyone else has eaten curry before but obviously extremely poor restaurants because Anupam aint that great

I have been going to the Anupam for over 20 years now and it has always maintained the same high standards of food and service. When visiting other Indian restaurants, I always find myself comparing it to the benchmark Anupam. Coupled with the great eating experience is the chance that you may see a famous face from the nearby Malvern Theatre dining there. I have seen Prunella Scales, Timothy West, Nigel Kennedy and Patrick Stewart.

A must visit on your trips to Malvern, the best contemporary Indian food outside of London. Superb staff and a really lovely feel to the restaurant. Stunning Food!

The Anupam is not just another Indian Restaurant. It is wonderful to find it in Malvern as you would expect to find an Indian restaurant of this calibre in one of the UK’s major cities. The food is very good and the service personal without being ingratiating. It is wonderful to go to a place where you can trust the waiters suggestions both in choice of dish and quantity. Supermarkets selling Indian takeaways have made us think that Indian food is a budget item, with very little difference in quality. The Anupam allows you to rediscover what a quality Indian meal should be.

I don’t know what it is about Malvern, it is only 8 miles further away from Birmingham than Worcester, but the prices at Indian restaurants are significantly higher here. The food at the Anupam is very pleasant, but there again I am a sucker for an Indian meal, and there is nothing particularly special here, and, to me, does not warrant the higher cost than almost any Indian restaurant in Worcester. I would recomend that you travel the extra 8 miles and have an equally nice meal for quite alot less money.

This is a really lovely contemporary Indian restaurant in the sleepy town of Malvern. I was surprised to find it as it would not be out of place in London — it’s trendy, nicely lit and colourful, and has a great atmosphere — it just needs more people to find it as it’s tucked away in a little street in the middle of this quiet town. Good value, delicious contemporary indian cuisine. Very attentive service and good suggestions from the staff if you need it. Highly recommended.
