Boots Opticians

I’ve always really enjoyed going to Boots Opticians — they’re a proper British institution and I always appreciate the excellent service they offer.
I’ve been coming here for 8 years and they’re always on it — reminders to book when it’s been a year, calls when lenses are ready (or sent out directly), short waiting times and the staff always up to date with your last check-​up even though they may be new.
A very modern set-​up, I’m on their vision plan which helps with the cost of everything they do (i.e free check-​ups) — the only thing I find a bit frustrating is their selection of glasses for sale. The core range of unbranded frames all seem really lacking in style and inspiration — while the designer ones are all plastered with branding for fashion houses etc all over them. I really don’t want logos and names all over my glasses or I may buy some from here — basically they need to work on their core range of inhouse frames!
Overall a great opticians experience with me buying my contacts here, I do usually buy my glasses online though where the selection is much better.
