Well, what can I say… Wow! As a previous Unilocaler has said this isn’t the place for squirt romantic date!!! This is a full on Greek experience, dancing on the tables, everyone up on their feet, shots of ouzo and getting involved type night! I came here with a drink who had a Groupon voucher for a 20 dish meat meze. DONOTEATBEFOREYOUCOMEHERE!!! I have never seen so much food in my life its great! There is no set menu here you either order the meat or veggie platter and the courses just keep rolling! Starters: hummus, tsasiki, hot pitta, beetroot salad, potato salad Hot starters: feta parcels, stuffed tomatoes, etc there are so many dishes! Mains:sifado, moussaka, garlic mushroom, rice, chicken stew, chicken dishes All great big portions to share with extra sides! Drinks were very reasonable– they also have mythos beer which is such a tasty option! In terms of after you eat they get everyone up dancing round the restaurant so you will either love it or hate it! Be prepared for a crazy night of being told how to dance by the crazy host, lots of good food and cold beer!

Me and the girlfriend went to Bouzouki by Night and had a brilliant time. The staff are super friendly and helpful, chatting with us and explaining all the traditional Greek menu. The setting is quirky and quaint, you really feel like it could be a small restaurant in Greece. The food was excellent, such a variety of flavourful traditional foods. The entertainment is excellent, real fun party atmosphere that is fun to just watch or partake in. The price was really reasonable, we had a voucher which made it super cheap but even at full price it’s a good night out. I really want to try going in a big group, I think it would be loads of fun!

What a fun place to eat, we had a ladies night out courtsy of a voucher I won. Living social. the waiters could not have been more helpful, the food was so greek I was almost bi-lingual by the end of the night. Lots of steps down to the dimly lit room, and deffinatly not the place to go for a quiet, intimate meal the entertainment was fun though we did not stay till the bitter end, work next day, will be going again probably pre christmas 10⁄10 for a good night out

Bouzouki By Night is not somewhere I would take an elderly relative for something to eat. That’s because, quite knowingly, it’s one of the most mental restaurants I’ve ever been to. I went with a big party for a friend’s birthday. The food was great and varied and surprisingly cheap. It’s quite dimly lit, but that only adds to the intimacy of your evening, feeling that you’re enclosed rather than on show for everyone. When our meal finished, I was then treated to some Europop, complete with a pensioner dancing on a table and the staff belly dancing. Speaking of the staff, it’s worth pointing out that they’re some of the most helpful and friendly staff you’re likely to come across anywhere in the country. Anyway, if the fun times had been sprung on me, I probably would have wept into my beer, however, as I’d been forewarned, I ended up having a real hoot. If you’re after refined dining, then you should go elsewhere… if you’re after a riotous night out with friends, you could do a lot worse than here.

I agree with Angela, as this venue offers a whole package for a night out. even a dance floor to boogie on! I would book a table here if you are require somewhere to romance a partner. If you are with a group though, what it offers can maximise what would otherwise just be a meal with friends! They have live Greek music and dancing from the resident band and a disco until 2am. You can order traditional Greek food from the extensive menu, when I went recently our group decided to plump for the meze banquet including a glass of wine each for £15 each, there was more than enough to fill us all up before giving the dance floor a go.

I’d only really recommend this for groups of friends, colleagues or family/birthday celebrations. It isn’t a place for a date. If you’re up for a fun night out though, and you like a variety of dishes, this is a great venue. I came with a group of friends and we ordered the mezze of 15 dishes(Houmous, Tzatziki, Greek Style Salad, Aubergines Imam, Falafel, Spinach Pies, Fried Haloumi cheese, Pastourmas, Chicken kebabs, Dolmathes, Mousaka, Stifado, Keftethes, Tavas and Yiouvetsi). After stuffing ourselves silly and knocking back several bottles of wine, out came the band, playing live Greek music. Before we knew it we were dancing in a Greek disco until 2am. A great night out for less than £30 each, you can’t fail to have a good time.

If you are going out for a family meal or as a large party then you should go to Bouzouki in Manchester, it’s right off Princess Street so its central and an easy meeting point. I have been twice now(both in large groups) and ordered the banquet menu, if you love Greek food then you won’t be disappointed, I love Greek food so the banquet is idea for me, a little bit of everything and I’m always keen to try new food. The restaurant seems to offer their own entertainment on a weekend, they have live music and even a small place to dance, not many do but you get a few who can’t help them self. In keeping with the mood the music is Greek, it really help keep an authentic environment. If you get the banquet and go as a group then the price if fairly reasonable, the drinks are not too bad either. The good things its this place is right in the middles of the town centre so its easy to go for drinks before or after your meal, I’m looking forward to going again.
