While I haven’t been to this Costa in the recent months, it is a fairly good one. It can get quite busy(like most Costa Coffee shops) on the weekend, even during the week as well. The staff are polite and the customer service is great too. What I personally like about this one is it being right next to Piccadilly Gardens. If the weather’s great, I would order one of their Coolers to go and hang around Piccadilly Gardens in the hot summer.

In my personal opinion — you can’t go wrong with Costa. It does exactly what it says on the tin. This store on Market Street is always a busy little hub of excitement in my eyes. Always loads going on and always lots of people either working, meeting, shopping or going about their daily business. This store has a live singer on a Sunday evening to lightly entertain you whilst you unwind from your busy weekend. The staff here are great. Chatty and chirpy. :)

Mostly hit the good costa quality, though been known to have some mishaps here! It’s probably the busiest costa in Manchester, great for people watching and central in the city.

One of the busiest Costa’s in town and you can end up queuing a little before it’s your turn. However I always find the staff very sufficient and happy! Sometimes they just need to remember to speak to the customers more than to each other and ignore the customer. I have never had a chai latte made bad so I’m happy with the quality of the drinks. The cakes don’t always look inviting, especially if you come late afternoon. Always plenty of space even though it’s busy.

Can be very busy at times but still a nice place to meet up, good service and clean.

If you avoid coming at busy times, this location is a convenient meetup point, and you can people-watch at the windows. The queues could indeed be long at breakfast, as indicated by Mike B., but then again I’ve always come here in the late afternoon or evening when the wait time is only a couple of minutes. I like the fact that you Costa gives a code on the receipt to use the toilets, but maybe all the coffee chains are doing that now.(Don’t lose your receipt!)
