Currys! I love electronics– phones, laptops, cameras, accessories, consoles. I love gadgets, anything with buttons and working screens! So this Currys is as good as the others and can cater to your every electronic need. I rushed in here to find some cd’s to burn for a roadtrip and was delighted to find a great cheap deal, since I was expecting it to be expensive! Anyhoo, its your typical Currys, no more, no less.

Currys Digital used to, of course, be Dixons, and the change in name has not really changed anything about the stock. It’s still the same vaguely overpriced electronic items that you could get cheaper elsewhere, but I suppose if you need help in deciding what to buy the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I used to work in Dixons several years ago, and there was a real push by the management to be knowledgeable on as many products as possible, so it’s nice to know that they do care, if only really so they can sell more. I wouldn’t shop here because I tend to do my own background research and go for the cheapest place, but for those of you who don’t have the time or inclination, Currys Digital is a good first place to head for all your electronic needs.

For those resisting the lure and sophistication of the Apple Mac, Currys Digital offer a reasonable range of new laptops, desktop computers, monitors, printers, scanners, webcams and electronic storage devices. They also stock Xbox consoles, digital cameras, plasma and LED televisions, DVD player, home cinema speakers, blu-ray players and all the cables to make them work. The staff are knowledgable and friendly, the prices are reasonable and the shop is more modern and contemporary than other branches. So why does window shopping here leave me so cold? Must be because I’m a Mac girl!
