Worst experience at a hairdressers. She completed a «full head» of highlights by painting random pieces of hair throughout and then tied it in a plait, and painted the plait, which resulted in random blotches of bleach all over my hair! She then cut my hair without fully brushing out the knots; which resulted in my hair being cut unevenly. When i tried to get in contact with her she continued to ignore my phone calls and messages and has since not apologised, or even acknowledged, the fact that I was unhappy with my hair. I would STRONGLY advice not to go here.

This place is a bit tricky to find as it’s technically in an office building. If you think you’re in the wrong place, you’re probably not so go to reception and ask.
I had the whole salon to myself which was nice. It’s a very stylish and relaxing place. Rebecca got me a drink, put on some music, and washed my hair. I’ve never found getting a haircut very relaxing but this was as close to it as I’ve come — probably due to the lack of other people around!
Rebecca was totally on board with what I wanted for my hair, while also making some suggestions as to what would suit me. She was professional and thorough during the cut, and not as incessantly chatty as some hairdressers can be. Not to say she wasn’t friendly as she definitely was!
After cutting it, she blow dried it straight, which I really appreciate as so many other hairdressers insist on doing the big poofy blow dry which is just not a good luck on hair that is bob length! The only downside here was the sheer amount of product she put in my hair. I hate to feel weighted down with product in my hair. I’ll be sure to mention it next time.
A full restyle costs £35 but I got a discount as I booked through Wahanda. Rebecca recommended that I book in for a trim next time to keep the style looking good, which is cheaper than a full restyle and might actually get me in the habit of having regular haircuts.
Really impressed with my haircut here and would recommend.

Esmie Style completely ruined my naturally curly hair, she cut layers that were far too short (I didn’t even ask for layers, I asked for a graduated bob, showed her a pic, no layering). I was left with tufts of hair just sticking up and a terrible sinking feeling that it was going to take months and months to grow back. She showed very little technical know-​how of hair cutting, she just seemed to hack away. It was the worst hair cut I’ve ever had in my life, she seemed more concerned with talking about her business expanding than being a skilled hairdresser. I had my terrible haircut at Esmie back in the summer and it has taken almost six months for me to get any length back in my curls and finally a trim at a different high end city centre salon to try correct what she did. Pretentious salon and utterly awful hair cut.

Wouldn’t of even given them 1 star absolutely ruined my hair they cut my fringe too far round my head and too short the cut was not professional at all I know have to live with it for 2 months as there is nothing that can be done until it grows back when I complained they made me out to be a liar and said my fiancé was threatening and abusive he sent 2 texts asking how he made a formal complaint nothing threatening or abusive now they refuse to get back to us with a refund absolute joke never go here.
