This place is, for me, the best Chinese supermarket in China Town. I tried each supermarket that I could come across in the surrounding area and have found this one to have the best choice and the prices are normally decent. Of course they don’t have the choice of somewhere huge such as Wing Yip but the choice they do have is very varied.
They sell frozen food, fresh fridge food, veg, fruit, meat and sea food as well as noodles, sauces, teas and much much more.
They have a Thai, Japanese and Korean section clearly marked and sell everything here from miso soup to hot red pepper paste.
They also have a great selection of sweets and snacks (Chinese, Japanese and Korean) and I have often come away with more than I intended to buy.
The staff are always friendly and helpful but it can get very busy at random times of the day and week.
Fantastic place when you are in Manchester or only want to pick up a few things and not drive all the way out to somewhere bigger.

It is often busy with students! The shop is decently clean and hygienic. I often buy ramen (Japanese style Chinese noodle) from chilled section. They sell fish balls, tofu etc. The staff is not that friendly but ok. The shop is easy to browse too. But prices is varied from shop to shop. So if you are in China town, I recommend you have a look a few shops to decide which shop you fancy.

This supermarket in chinatown is a basement shop.
It sells a wide range of oriental foodstuff. including chinese, thai, malaysian and indonesian.
Its shop area is not very big but there is plenty of variety of all kinds or oriental foods.
They have a selection of fresh fish and shell fish. A selection of fresh friut and vegetables too
The prices here are reasonable. They have boxes of chinese vegetables at bargain prices just at the top of the stairs leading down into the shop.
If u buy a lot of stuff then they have people who will carry it to ur car for u.
All in all I would recommend this place to have a browse around and see what u fancy!
