Maybe you’ve been planning an exciting night out with the girls, but found that someone else has the same Czech army helmet as you. Maybe you don’t have the right gas mask to compliment your dress, or there’s several other people in the club with the exact same Tactical Leg Holster. Possibly you want more than just the one variety of assault boots to expand your wardrobe, or you simply lost the last pair of Russian Tank goggles you owned. Whatever your army surplus needs, Mashed steps in. It has pretty much anything you could ever want in the army surplus branch of designer clothing, which is, admittedly, a very small and narrow branch. Nevertheless, should you feel the urge for a giant Iron Cross to complete that WWII-era German armed forces look, you know where to go.

This is another version of Army and Navy, only it appears to be even cheaper. I came in here to get a few items for my trip to the Nevada desert and ended up buying a lot more than I bargained for. You can pick up a thermal vest for as little as £5, a wifebeater string vest for £7(who doesn’t need a wifebeater in their closet?). Helmets, gas masks and handcuffs are essential wardrobe items too I find, you never know when you’re going to need them. But seriously, there are some great military items in here that would compliment anyone’s wardrobe, especially the t-shirts, hats and accessories, it is worth having a root around if you’re in Affleck’s.

This witty titled army surplus store is a fantastic resource for anybody wanting to add a little authenticity to their grunge look or pick up a genuine US army issue M65 parka to finish off that classic Mod look. The guys in store are really friendly and always ready help with sizing. Whilst it’s probably true to say that most surplus stores tend to be full of weirdo stalker types, here you’ll find only excited youngsters treating military wear like fancy dress– good ol’ lighthearted, disrespectful fun!
