I love my Nepresso machine, and I must use at least two pods a day. So as you can imagine I need to stock up fairly regularly, but due to the Trafford Centre being rather a trek on public transport I only make a trip once every few months(wish there was a city centre branch). Every single time I’ve been I’ve been ignored, had staff continue personal conversations around me, and been made to feel an inconvenience in a mostly empty shop. My customer experience from this luxury retailer has been sub-par, and verging on rude every time I’ve visited. The lack of service really sticks out for me due to the infrequency of my visits. I now order all my pods via the Nepresso website or phone line, which I can not commend enough. The staff on the phone were especially helpful when arranging a repair for my machine. They arranged to collect from my place of work, and drop off a loan machine at the same time, impeccable. Such a shame that the physical store is such a disappointment.

I called in Nespresso while in the trafford centre, after seeing the adverts with George Clooney, I wanted to find out about this place, as you know I do love coffee. This is like the Hotel Chocolat of coffee, very high end, it mainly sells its coffee machines which only fit their pods, which are £3 for 10 and work out 30p a cup. They do have sampling here in the flavours: Normal, Vanilla, Caramel and Chocolate. I came here with a few friends and we shared out a few, I found the normal coffee to not be very sweet and it took a few sugars to be able to drink it but I didn’t like it, the sampler told me that caramel is the sweetest but I didn’t find it to be sweet at all even with sugar and barely tasted caramel, I actually did like the vanilla one but that was the only one that you would want to drink, which is quite dissapointing for the price. You do get samples here but they are only small cups and I don’t think you will get away with drinkng loads, maybe one of each type if they think you are a serious customer. They is television screens throughout which show the advert with George Clooney. This store I feel is far too high market for the average Joe Bloggs, and only their coffee goes in this coffee maker which is quite expensive. I didn’t even find the coffee to be as good as it should be, I don’t think they are natuarly sweet and unless stirred they do taste weird due to the milk/froth it produces. I feel 2 stars is neccesary as the staff and the vanilla one were nice but due to everything else, especially the price I can’t go any higher hence I am surprised at the 5 star average rating, which was on this listing before my review.

Nespresso shop is situated within the Trafford Centre. They sell their whole range of coffee machines and accessories from cups to coffees to capsule holders. At the rear of the shop is a ‘coffee room’ which is more of just a standard up bar. You can enjoy any type of complimentary coffee and get advice about the Coffees you may want to purchase. All the staff are very knowledgable on the full range of coffee pods as well as the products.

For quality and superiority of all the pod coffee machines you MUST try Nespresso. A huge range in choice of both coffees and machines. In this boutique store you can taste any coffees from the whole range and see the machines in use. The staff are very knowledgable, helpful and friendly… If you have never been in you should pop by and at least try a free one… Who knows you maybe returning home with a quality machine… Incidentally the pods can be bought on line from Nespresso and other outlets now producing them. Out of several non Nespresso brands the best I found is available at Lidl… Not as good but for an all round blend for work its fine!

mmmm Coffee. I love my coffee and this is the Nespresso are the leading brand for coffee pod machines with by far the best selection of coffee varieties in pods. I love their Boutique stores, very classy layout with the full range of pods on one wall, machines on the other and a coffee bar at the back for you to be able to try any of the varieties before you buy. Staff are lovely and very knowledgeable, don’t be afraid to ask about anything. Go in and try a coffee or 2 and stock up on pods. Prices for the pods are between £2.5 and £3.5 Per pack of 10 making a cup at most 35p which is a drop in the ocean compared to a coffee shop. I just wish there was a store in the city centre that was easier to get too.
