In a world where almost every item of furniture we own seems to be Ikea, shops like Roche Bobois are a welcome relief.
True, every piece in here costs hundreds if not thousands of pounds, but there’s some truly original and exciting design going on. They have modern pieces downstairs, and then 18^th and 19^th century design up on the first floor.
When I had a wonder round this shop, I was completely out of place. But one day, I would love to own some of the furniture from Roche Bobois. I would truly have made it.
