Yeah it’s a decent charity shop, but for me its not the best charity to donate your money towards. And i feel that this should be a consideration in selecting where to buy your tat from. I’m not sure if that’s a controversial thing to say. I hope I don’t cause any uproar. I like uproar, but only if its not against me. I don’t mind animals, and I don’t think we should be cruel to animals. I think we should be nice to them and stroke them and feed them and make them happy. However, I feel that the planet is in a horrendous state with death and starvation everywhere, and people killing people through war and exploitation to boot. Therefore, in comparison to such concerns, I’m not arsed about animals.

RSPCA has a prime location as it is situated near numerous other charity shops next to the four banks crossroad in the centre of Chorlton. Sadly, this location has meant that the shop has been targeted by thoughtless thieves who have stolen goods, money and a computer. I read in the local newspaper that the shop is now struggling to continue, so it would definitely be one worth donating those jeans that are too tight for you or those old Blue Peter annuals to. I went in here in search of a Halloween costume for my friend, and she picked up an amazing cape(a size 24 women’s jacket) for a bargainous £2.99. The shop isn’t quite as appealing or as fashionable as Oxfam, but it’s probably a little bit cheaper, and you can make your purchases safe in the knowledge that you’re going to be helping poor abandoned felines and pooches.
