I came here for a retirement party and there’s a very big event space on the top floor which I would think could seat 200 people. The buffet was well organised and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food quality wasn’t the best but some of the curries(the vegetarian in particular) were quite tasty. The only thing that put me off in terms of having a party here was that in general the restaurant didn’t look that clean — floors could have done with a mop etc. Not quite what you want for your special occasion.

Can’t believe how good the service is always at this eatery. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is miles better than Nawaabs. And the building is so grand it makes you feel like it’s worthy of any occasion.

Lovely, alternative to Nawaabs in levenshume, but usually less choice but its possibley better as nawaab has gone down hill now. Lovely settings, but ensure you go on a busy night or else its cold indoors!

This is a great restaurant if you don’t fancy going down to the curry mile, but still want an authentic Indian experience. I was first introduced to this place when I held school tutoring sessions here after school. Yep that’s right, GCSE revision with a free curry thrown in(the things we do to get kids to study these days!) So, as well as being helpful and community spirited. This place does some top notch food! It’s a pretty big restaurant and as well as the usual a la carte dining, has a buffet area(quality food, not your average row of dubious curry mush). Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere can be busy and lively on a weekend and more intimate during weekday evenings.
