This is one of my favourite restaurants, I have been here many times. It a very special restaurant to me as this is where my Wife proposed. The sweets are amazing and there is a wide variety. I love the Jalebi, it’s has too sweet liquid. I always have the gol guppe and my wife has the king prawns. So tasty! I don’t normally rate Indian restaurant food very highly, but Sanam is very good. Main course I have dal makhani, so creamy and delicious. Choc cake for dessert. Winner.

Rather a novelty for students on their way up the Curry Mile for the first time. Bristling with many varieties of cakes, sweets and pastries, definitely worth a visit and a casual seating area for those who want to delight themselves with a comfortable seat aswell. This place can really be busy at times but definitely worth a visit.

I am not sure if it says on their menu but they also do Faludas/Faloodas — a sweet dessert-drink which is basically a milkshake with a few dollops of kulfi icecream, vermicelli and tapioca pearls/basil seeds. It’s one of the best I’ve had. You get a spoon and a straw(to drink the shake and eat the ice-cream) It’s sweet and very rich, so you need some room for this!

The sweets here are so authentic! If you have the tongue for Indian/Pakistani sweets, you would really appreciate this place! It’s a very lively place and is with a restaurant which is not all that great. Not like this sweet corner. It’s pretty crowded, on weekends especially. They do great jalebis, rosh-gulas, gulab jamuns and ras malai. Most of their sweets are very unusual and colourful, making people want to try them out. Most of the times you wouldn’t be disappointed unless they’re having a bad day. I personally love this place and would recommend it to people looking for something different.

Sugar is good. Really, that’s all you need to know. Tasty, unusual, colourful, and crazy. Words that can describe the sweets inside. Oh, also there’s a restaurant, but it’s not as tasty, unusual, colourful or crazy. So much for that then.

What is it with the curry mile and slapping digi cam photos of the food up? It doesn’t make it look any more attractive at all. Sanam sweet centre and restaurant follows the example of its twins a few doors down. Lots of amazing and unusual sweets, I can’t remember what their called or how you should have em but just point randomly at what you think looks the nicest and you won’t be disappointed. Buy individually or by the bulk. The place also hosts a halal restaurant with a wide range of asian dishes to spice up your life!

Best Sweet place on the curry mile. Have massive variety of sweet, cakes, pastries you name it they got it. They cater for vegs too. You can buy by the piece or in bulk. The centre also houses a halal restaurant. Serves a wide range of Asian dishes aswell as few english. I really love the seating area, it has a mezzanine, which is great for parties. aswell. Very busy place and if you time it right might even catch a celeb or two.
