Looking more like a shop than a pub from the outside, Cavendish Bar is located just behind Manchester Metropolitan University on the Stretford Road.
Someone told me that its new, but this person is 65 and has been living nearby for 40 years, so new may mean older than me. However, further investigation suggests it is indeed relatively new.
They serve a decent pint and have a pool table and Sky TV, and they also have a beer garden so if the sun ever comes out in Manchester that may be useful.
I’ve nothing to say against the place, a pretty decent little bar.
