Nice, cheap, and simple, my first call for DIY and gardening stuff, as well as household items. Queues can get quite big at the tills but staff jump on quick enough and queue bust. Stationary and sweets/​food are on the lower level but I hardly go to that area of the store.

Cheap and simple with nice displays! It lures you in with their gardening tools, plants, ornaments and helps you to believe you can make your garden look beautiful! And surprise surprise, you can!
I’ve found more than one bargain for the garden and EVEN the kitchen in here. Starting out in a new home was hard for me and my boy not owning much but our green bin, kettle and toaster look great and work very efficiently — and they were so cheap!
Wilkinson’s offers such a range of items but they are great at providing ranges that match each other. Your home will not look dull.
They provide all the decorating supplies you could ever need as well as cleaning supplies and a good chocolate range.

My more local branch of Wilkinson is the Bury branch and in comparison the Eccles branch appears a little small so is naturally to me a bit of a disappointment as the range of stock they hold is obviously less. However, it’s still roomy with lots of space to navigate and very high ceilings so you don’t feel too encloses and gives the building an extra feeling of space and in turn makes it nicer to browse around. They stock all expected lines of toiletries, domestic goods and DIY projects etc all at very affordable prices making it well worth a stop and look inside.
