good atmosphere, good beer slightly expensive as it is not the trendy bar type more like the cosy locals pub with an open fire and a friendly face just opened a pizza bar there as well so you can watch your favourite pepperoni passion being cooked whilst watching the sports, playing pool or sitting chatting in front of the fire. Beer garden is nice and is a must for the summer while the BBQ sizzles away! Kids are welcome but you do get the feeling that the locals would rather not have them there although it would never be said it is pretty much a 28+ crowd well worth a trip if you are in Marlow town.

Mind your head!
Quite possibly one of the lowest ceilings in Britain makes navigating this pub a challenge even when sober.
The interior is dark and cosy with comfy seating and an open fire. The bar itself is clean and modern and the beer is very well kept.
There is the standard telly on the wall — so you can watch the rugby, and the beer garden is small and a little tatty.
All said and done, it’s a good crowd that you find drinking here and the atmosphere in the evenings is always convivial and busy. Definitely worth a visit
